Every year, on the fourth weekend in April, GNPRMS is host to the Cotee River Seafood Blues Festival and Boat Show. The 2014 event was a tremendous success – scroll through to see what it was all about!
APRIL 2014: 15th Annual Cotee River Seafood Blues Festival & Boat Show:
Join Greater New Port Richey Main Street for an award winning event that combines a boat show with a seafood festival, blues concert, arts and crafts, and activities for the entire family to enjoy along the waterfront. New this year, the Cotee River Festival joins up with the Pasco Paddlepalooza in Port Richey, to showcase all the best of what makes West Pasco unique. Scheduled for Friday, April 25 through Sunday, April 27th the weekend kicks off with the True Oldies Friday night concert on the VOLKSWAGEN of NEW PORT RICHEY stage in Sims Park. The BLUES BY THE RIVER concert series on Saturday and Sunday features local and regional blues legends including TC Carr and the Bolts of Blue, The Steve Arvey Band and the Lauren Mitchell Band. Water and land shuttles will be available for festival attendees between locations all weekend.
A whole WEEKEND of FUN!
Tasty seafood, beautiful boats, arts & crafts, “It’s Only Natural” Fine Art Show, Mermaids, Pirates and fishing and boating tips from the experts, along with kid friendly activities makes it a great weekend for the whole family. There will be a short break in the music on Sunday as the DUCKTONA 500 Duck Race splashes into the Cotee River. Immediately after the winners are announced, live music wraps up the evening until 5pm on Sunday.

They will be honoring the music of 1969, a year that saw some incredible music released – for most bands of the time, it was either a great beginning, a climb up to the peak or a gracious swan song. 1969 had it all – great concert festivals like Woodstock and Isle of Wight and some of the greatest music ever produced and performed. Circle Sky will be performing music from The Band, The Beatles, Chicago, The Allman Bros. Band, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Santana, etc and many more. Greater New Port Richey Main Street is very honored to be hosting Circle Sky’s final open air show – come on down and give them a GREATer New Port Richey ‘thank you’ send off!
