2018 Cotee River Boat Parade Application

The 19th Annual River Lights Boat Parade…is now and forever,               The Cotee River Christmas Boat Parade!

Boats of all kinds, decorated with strings of lights and holiday flare will glide along the Cotee River from Miller’s Bayou in Port Richey’s Waterfront to Sims Park in Downtown New Port Richey.

The parade will begin at approximately 6pm in the Port Richey Waterfront.  There are many great places to view the parade along the river with the main gathering spot being Sims Park.

Plan to spend the afternoon in Sims Park at Dr. Unger’s Winterfest, with plenty of activities and entertainment, food, drink and 30 tons of SNOW, then stay into the evening to watch the boat parade.

Boats, kayaks or any type of sea worthy vessels are eligible to participate in the parade.

Registration is required, you can find the application on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/BBAandNPRMainStreet or send an email to NPRMainStreet@gmail.com.

Anyone that may have questions can call Kristin Tonkin at (727)364-7516. Please register by November 28th.

There will be a Captains meeting for all participants at Whiskey Joe’s on November 28th.  Event info and rules will be reviewed, and participants will receive their boat number for the parade.  An after party will be held at Whiskey Joe’s following the boat parade.

New Port Richey Main Street and the Bayou Business Association have partnered up to coordinate this Spectacular Evening Event.

Please join us for another great race while supporting two great causes!

We will be combining athletics and sidearm cheering for a super fun event.
